AIRCRAFT

Each student at Mazzei Flying Service is provided combined aircraft liability coverage under our company insurance policy in the amount of $300,000.00 for bodily injury and property damage in airplanes and $300,000.00 in helicopters, both are limited to $100,000 per passenger. Should you desire higher limits of liability in fixed wing aircraft, you can purchase an additional student/renter policy.

Students are financially responsible for payment of the insurance deductible for any damage incurred while an aircraft is in their sole care and custody. The amount of the deductible is $2,500.00 for all fixed wing aircraft and $5,000.00 for all R22 helicopters and $10,000.00 for the R44 helicopter. Additional coverage for fixed wing aircraft to cover the deductible plus excess personal liability insurance is available to students through Aviation Marine Insurance Services, Inc.

HEALTH AND ACCIDENT INSURANCE

Health and accident insurance is available only to all foreign national students at Mazzei Flying Service. Coverage under our policy provides a maximum medical benefit for accident or sickness of $50,000.00 with a $50.00 deductible per illness or injury. The coverage includes flying related injuries and is also available to student's spouse and children. The premium is $129.00 per student per month. International students interested in this coverage should mark the appropriate box on their enrollment application.
